From the Classroom to Compliance.
With more than 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I consider myself an ECE expert who has experienced the field from multiple perspectives—from the classroom to leadership, licensing, curriculum, training, and program development.
I began my career as a Pre-K teacher in the private sector and was promoted to Center Director at just 25 years old. My career continued to expand through roles as a Licensing Consultant for the State of Georgia, Curriculum Specialist, Education Specialist, Project Manager, and Training Specialist.
I have also had the opportunity to help build an early childhood center from the ground up, giving me firsthand knowledge of what it takes to develop, operate, monitor, and continuously improve a quality early learning program.
Today, through Gasby Consulting & Training—also known as Inspector Gasby—I use that experience to equip early childhood professionals with practical knowledge, tools, and strategies that can be implemented immediately.
Inspector Gasby is on the case. Like the iconic inspectors who notice what others overlook, Inspector Gasby brings a trained eye to the details that matter—safety, compliance, classroom quality, curriculum, interactions, environments, and program practices.
The goal isn't simply to find what's wrong. The goal is to identify it, understand it, fix it, and build systems that help prevent it from happening again.
To serve as a trusted resource for early childhood professionals by equipping educators, administrators, and programs with the knowledge, skills, tools, and resources needed to create safe, nurturing, high-quality learning environments where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, thrive, and dream.
To transform early childhood programs by empowering professionals to move beyond compliance toward excellence—creating environments where safety, quality, learning, and children's well-being are at the center of every decision.
